Burger and Lobster

Breakfast was a shared orange juice with a plain croissant each, perfectly adequate but lunch was pre-planned with the girls at 4ish!

We visited both Serpentine Galleries but couldn’t resist a coffee in the Magazine restaurant at the Sackler Serpentine.  We might not have stayed if we had known about the children’s party, but is a fabulous building.

From the RA we walked up Regent Street to Oxford Circus then up Great Portland Street to Little Portland Street to find Burger and Lobster, the appointed venue for late lunch early supper, we were ready for it!

I’m not a burger fan, I prefer Crab to Lobster, I chose the lobster roll which was every bit as good as those we experienced on the Maine Coat some years ago.  The great thing about the roll is that all the work is done for you.

I have to say I loved it.  They specialise and what they do is great.  It’s a very recent group, and it’s growing like tospy.

£20 per head and drinks, what an experience.
