Michael lives in Exmouth, Devon. The Exe estuary provides a wealth of inspiration for his paintings as well as the rest of the Devon and Cornish coast and countryside.
In March 2007 he was elected to membership of the Pastel Society UK.
New exhibition format for 2013….
From 2013 Martin’s Gallery will be introducing a new format for its exhibitions. One of the three main galleries will host a solo show and the other two galleries will show a permanent but constantly changing display of paintings and sculpture. This selection will feature pastels by two other members of the Pastel Society, Jill Jeffrey and Libby January as well as Kim Williams, Simon Ward, Ned Hoskins and works from several favourites. New sculpture by Philip Hearsey, Mary Rippon and Jill Rundle
